Founded as “Shokosha Electroplating Workshop” by the founder, Taikichi Yamamoto, as a sole proprietorship.

Manufacturing and sales of watch exteriors, ornaments, and automotive.

Established the Sayama Factory

Began production of watch cases.

Established the Warabi Factory.

Established the Moroyama Factory.
Also founded the subsidiary “Yama Co.” which handles the wholesale of decorative items.

As the first step towards international expansion, established “Taiwan Shoko Co., Ltd.” in Taiwan.

Built the Development Headquarters next to the Sayama Factory.

Established “Shoko Trading Limited” in Hong Kong as a hub for expanding sales in China and Southeast Asia.

Celebrated the 60th anniversary of the founding.
Established the subsidiary “Ceraby Co.” to expand into retail stores for decorative items.

Started the Taiwan Liyuan Company & China Kangzi Factory.

Began mass production of automotive instrument panels as a new business.

Opened a new dial factory in China.

Built a new “Automotive Instrument Panel” factory at the Warabi site.

Began the jewelry parts business.

Established Shoko-sha Myanmar.

Commenced operations at Shoko-sha Myanmar.

Celebrated the 90th anniversary.

Acquired the Nishigaoka Factory of Shoko-sha Corporation.
